I can understand being cranky about that. As a well-known computer guru, I
get more freebie-wanting customers than paying ones. Eventually, you end up
having to turn down a friend for your well being, and it really doesn't make
you feel good.
But being rude about it, friend or not, is only going to hurt your business.
And as a representative of Jim's business, I should very much hope you don't
want to hurt his business.
