Might I suggest this has something to do with Mike Hirtes, or someone trying
to implicate him? it would be a little coincidental if Hirtes and Caddell
were mentioned in these posts, after Mike was harassing Caddell here, and
you kicked Mike?

There's a couple of oddities though... one is that one of those
referral e-mails used the name 'M Caddell'... and the other is, well,
I recieved a shitload of 'Please confirm membership' and 'welcome to'
e-mails from lists and stuff I never joined, as well as all this...
and one of them apparently used the password 'hirtes'.
Very strange.
Virus check turned up nothing, by the way.
