  Well, there have been a LOT of stories, I'm sure, since I last had
anything published in Genus. Unfortunately, the nearest comic shop
around here does not carry that book, so I haven't been able to
check them out.
  And remember, polls are just people's opinions. It's not like the
fate of the world depends upon them! I don't even know how long any
of my material was in the polls because I never really paid
attention to the letters page. O_o
  It's been a couple of years since I sent anything in for Genus. I
was on a real roll there for awhile, in almost every issue. But
that kind of pace can burn you out real fast. I've got enough stuff
on hand to submit 2 stories, but there's no real rush. I've had to
slow down considerably since last April, but that doesn't mean the
well is drying up anytime soon. ;)
  So sit back, and enjoy the stories and art that are in the book!
You might find a real gem!
