No, I haven't, though I believe this list of "Furry Books"
does mention it. Hosted on Amazon...
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/listmania/list-browse/-/1P5P0Z35U9SXH/qid%3D1050490903/sr%3Dlmlf-9/ref%3Dbr%5Flmlf%5F%5F9/104-9155069-4737520

Sounds like it would be an interesting read, as are many
things out there I rarely seem to get the time to read. :-/

Though if asking me, you've got to be mentally unstable to
want to be human... Oh that's right, I am already, I just
don't have the certificate for that... (Six other
institutional qualifications though - educational
institutions that is!)

Though they are trying to correct DNA defects and things
now (well, researching into etc) for diseases, so I suppose
as an off-shoot, this is a real possibility. It could even
occur accidentally. Not likely in your lifetime, though
with the rate of technological progress, maybe it will.
*shrugs* My crystal ball is too cloudy to see at the
moment... ;-)

That's based on the reference from the book by H G Wells,
The Island of Dr Moreau that spawned the movie etc. For me
Moreau sounds too like 'morose' - extremely depressed.
Agree that it does sound more mature and less cute that
Furry. Haven't read the Wells book, but he seems to end on
depressing notes for some reason. Just not a fan of the
happy ending. Not killing everyone off or similar, but
rarely the best outcomes. Possibly more realistic in that
regard though.

Moreau hunts as the 'farm boys' get some of their own back
so to speak would be quite unfortunately probable. KKK
against those with excess body hair, so to speak...

Scrapper, Black Dragon, trapped in the office with these
problematic hu-mons... ;-)
