Think what you may of me, but skunkworks does frequent my
mind. And I mean frequent. Having gone skiing on the
weekend (yes, it is winter in Australia and in the
mountains we do get snow) I was preoccupied sufficiently
that the girls didn't cross my mind till turning into a
friend's street on the way home and noticing Lori Avenue...
Don't know what I didn't notice it before... So almost
two days without them entering my head. Okay, a day and a
half, maybe...
Couldn't say that I would envisage the girls to be
ski-bunnies (ski-skunkies?), though there is a print of the
girls playing in the snow with Onyx making a muscular snow
man. But, having said that, I'd speculate the girls on
skis would go something like this:
"Now, bend your knees, keep your shoulders up as you lean
slighly forward," the cute instructor fox smiles
reassuringly to the sisters.
Onyx immediately falls backwards on her tail, a stunned "oh
- ouch!" expression on her face.
Natasha leans forward to far, ending up in a sprawl of
limbs and skis facing down the hill with a front and face
full of snow.
"Ah, ya losers!" Lori shushes off down the slope, only to
gain excessive speed and crash spectaularly 50 feet further
down the slope.
The red fox quickly skis down to Lori, stopping neatly
beside her. "You okay?" He offers a paw.
"Pfff," the skunk splutters as she spits snow from her
mouth and nose. "Yeah, just dandy. Lovin' every second of
this..."
There we are furs, an idea for a story, if anyone is game!
Scrapper, Black Dragon, more ideas than time to write, or
draw, or paint, etc.
