If you are referring to Jade Lee Green (iguana) having
marginal resemblence to Desiree Lee (chameleon), then this
has been discussed and settled previously. It was also
established that Martin has been drawing Jade longer than
JMH has been publishing to the internet. Des had answered
questions about character similarities and was okay with
Martin drawing Jade as he does. There is a pic on Martin's
VCL (with an accompanying text) explaining the differences
between the characters too.

My counter to this is that species aren't going to live
long if they don't have others that are similar to continue
the species, are they?

We've had our share of 'art cheats', but Martin isn't one.
The picture is also meant to be of his character with the
skunk trio, otherwise it'd be off topic for the group...

I didn't read it that way (maybe I misread?), but I don't
think Martin nor Ross were suggesting Martin's art was
better than MBR or JS. More along the lines of he is a
good artist who has drawn the skunk trio, like JS, MBR etc.

Unfortunate limitation of text that restricts the
expression with which the message was meant to convey,
leaving it open to misinterpretation... :-/

I don't want you to be the bad guy! I believe you're doing
great work with assisting artists get their art on the web
etceteras. It is just that it _appeared_ you were being
unreasonably critical of what is good art, even if you
disagree with the subject matter.

Hopefully we can get a ruling from JMH, just so we can
refer to his post in future and unvoid further conflicts.

Advertising in the broader sense - to promote artist's good
work. Not just to try and make a buck. I'll agree the
word does carry negative connotations. But I think you'd
agree that artists who sell folios have more money to
develop further projects than those who don't...

I apologise for my lack of knowlege in this regard. I was
under the mistaken impression that you had always run Jab
archives (since I've only been on-line for around 3 years)
I don't believe I was even aware of an artist called Jab.
I was going to ask the origin of the name, but it appears
you've answered it for me.

Before I speculate and insult anyone further - TJA stands
for? 10 years is quite a long time on the internet,
someone's due congratulations there.

Best make sure you're sitting down in a chair with arms,
furs! You've been warned this site's going to carry some
real punch! :-)

Sounds fantastic! Looking forward to seeing the results of
all your (plural!) hard work.

You're making perfect sense James. :-) When you spell it
out for us dunces, it leaves no doubts. Thanks for the
wind-up pitch regarding TJA, we appreciate the information.

Regards, Scrapper, Black Dragon, who likes it when we work
towards a common goal.

PS, if there are things we furs can do to help, let us
know. S,BD.
