I'm lost on this one guys... While I haven't seen but one or two artists
actually getting pubically chased away, I have seen in much of my own
experiences that the community in general is just a lot less responsive
or supportive of new artists compared to when much of todays established
favorites were first entering the genre. In some ways, I have to agree
with him here. If the established artists keep slowly dropping out of
the genre and the newbs with potential are not made to feel sincerely
welcome, then the whole genre will eventually fuck itself over.

But a Great artist; and this is just one example... TL Graf took REAL
public abuse over this because she learned from Terrie Smith and so that's
what her style looked like and she eventually had to go back and rethink
her style and reinvent herself as an artist. You can still see the scars if you
listen to her carefully but she proved that a real artist can percevere and
work through it all.

Maybe Martin should run away from it all...But hopefully there's a real
artist in him too that will drag him back and he'll be able to use that to change
her appearance some to be more Iguana-like. It's very easy to make them
cute and toony too. Take Joe's for example:

But whatever happens, we certainly can't hold him against his will.
This is his choice and it's his thin skin if being in public is more than
he can handle...though that doesn't mean all the hardasses are right
either, they should be Kill-Filed enMasse or boycotted if they're
too set in their ways to welcome new blood and new ideas in.

*sigh*
