         Copyrighting a story is easy: Just write it down and you are done.


         Now, you might want to do something that makes it easy to prove
when you wrote it. The best is to have an original notarized, and witnesses
are also good. As for the so-called "poorman's copyright," where you mail
a copy to yourself, it is not very useful as it is easy to mail yourself an
empty
unsealed envelope.
