Clayton, I stated in my previous post that I had no problem with
you commissioning Julie to make the doll. Absolutely no problem at
all. My argument about not being contacted was partly my fault,
because I _am_ rather difficult to get ahold of; Julie did not know
how to find me and ask me, so I contacted her instead. The end
result was the same, in either case, and I told Julie I had no
problem with the doll. So you've trampled on no one's feet here. In
other words, everything is cool.

There is no need to be concerned about that; no one can "ban"
anyone else from the fandom, especially for something as trivial as
this recent event. Now, if someone murdered Des, then yeah, there's
a real good chance they're gonna get banned. ;) But other than
that...
Anyway, just relax, man. I'm going to send a few images to Julie
so she has a couple more reference shots of Natasha (you know I'm a
stickler for details), and once she's done, I reckon you'll have a
one-of-a-kind doll.
Admittedly, I was hoping to prevent any sort of misunderstanding on
the subject, and was not aware my previous post would instigate such
a reaction. I thought I worded everything fairly well, but if I
didn't, then I apologize. On the other hand, we did all learn a
bunch of info about copyrights and such, so perhaps those aspiring
artists on the group can use that info for their own creations. It
was certainly an interesting discussion.
Okay, I gotta get to sleep now. Gotta head into work in a few
hours, and I definitely don't want to be dragging my ass.
