Hey all-
Just got the computer straightened out liast night (thanks to Jim
LaBella). Seems the harddrive was on its way out.
I made a list of about 50 or 60 posts I have to respond to, so I'll
get to those later today, as well as finally post that By The Tail
picture. Des is bringing over the next comic on Thursday, I think,
so I'll upload that when I get it.
I'll be putting up another auction tonight too, since I'm gonna
need the cash for surgery. Went into the doctor's on Monday, and was
told the eyes aren't doing very well. I have to go in this Friday to
get an injection in the right eye (the good one) to stop the bleeding
there. This will render me essentailly blind for the weekend, since
I can't see much of anything out the left eye. At best, I can read 3-
inch high letters from about 18 inches away with that eye. :(
The left eye will require some pretty extensive surgery. The
doctors said it can be saved, but I gotta act fast, and even then the
vision will never be 100% like it was before. As long as I can see
pretty clearly out of it, with the other eye working at or close to
100%, I'll be happy as a pig in shit.
So that's about it from here. I'll get to those posts later today.
but I don't think I'm gonna be able to catch up on e-mail, at least
not until after my surgery.
Oh yeah, one more thing. The complete "Ups & Downs" book, over 40
pages long, will be coming out in April from Radio Comix. Sight
willing, I'll be able to finish it all up.
