To JH,
I've been following some new research that is showing partial
reversal of diabetes symptoms. Including the possiblilty of reversal
of eye damage.
I'm currently working on a device for Al Davis, a furry fan in San
Diego who has had a lot of problems with diabetes damage.
If you are interested, I can make up something for you, too.
No charge.
Here are some URLs, if you would like to take a look at the research.

One excerpt from an article on the subject says:
The general public can use photo-therapy units containing LEDs
because they are:
SAFE
HAVE NO SIDE EFFECTS
CANNOT BE OVERUSED
REQUIRES VERY LITTLE EXPERTISE to operate
Anodyne markets their apparatus, both to health professionals and to
consumers. Their "professional" system is priced at $4,895, and
their "consumer" system retails for $2,495.
(However, a hobbyist might be able to build a similar device for far,
far less, which might be nearly as effective. That's where I come in.
I figure it's worth a try.)
