Thank you for taking the time to do some reading about the use of IR
LEDs to heal diabetes-related health problems. However, let me
caution you against making statements that may be misleading.
Reading all of the papers listed in the research links at the Anodyne
site, there is at least one paper dealing with experiments on healing
damage to the eyes using IR light.
There are competing theories as to the actual mechanism of healing.
The generation of NO is not the only mechanism under consideration.
The Anodyne people are being cautious about their claims (fear of
lawsuits and all), so they don't mention eyesight directly. But read
the literature that they link to before making comprehensive
statements.
I've done some web searching, and I can't find any research that
HASN'T shown a lot of promise in the use of LED therapy, including
healing of tissue damage and other ailments other than symptoms
related to diabetic neuropathy.
I think it's only a matter of time and the effort of some brave
souls, before we will see more research that shows the benefits of
deep red and infrared (IR) LED therapy on eyesight.
If you are thinking about household circuit breakers, then you have
to consider that the currents I'm talking about are 5 volts CD out of
a power supply. NOT 110 volts AC. The DC power supply that I've been
using draws about 0.5 amps from a 110 volt AC outlet.
Please stop jumping to conclusions and making inflamatory statements
that are not based on reality.
If you have questions, then please ask. DON'T make dire predictions
and then wait for someone to refute them.
