Hey all-
Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is:
both Lori and Onyx are dead. No, no, not the skunks! The
computers. "Lori" refused to accept any OS on her harddrive,
and "Onyx" had her motherboard take a permanent vacation. "Onyx"
was where all my website stuff was, as well as all my graphics
tools. Fortunately, I at least had enough brain cells to plan
ahead, and had all the websites I'd been working on copied over onto
Zip disks. So they're all safe. I would've been REALLY pissed off
if I'd lost those sites. Bad enough I deleted the Caterwaul site
from the computer (many many months ago) before saving all the
updated info onto it's corresponding Zip disk. Now I have to retype
all the friggin' character bios. Joy.
I also got a 500 MHz computer from my brother, which is how I'm
online now. I have a few things left to install (like the scanner),
so it'll be a couple of days before I'm able to upload some art,
etcetera. Also, I have some real important news to post online,
which I will do so this Saturday night (03/13). It concerns all the
shit that's been going on for the past several months, as well as an
agenda for the future. I will list the news on the Skunkworks
homepage sometime after work on Saturday, and will post a link to it
here, should anyone be interested in knowing what's been going on,
and how it will affect the future of my artwork.
Oh yeah, that was the good news part. Not really GREAT news, per
se, but definitely better than the first paragraph.
Also, I am going to initiate a "schedule" of sorts, whic will
basically bookmark a few hours on each and every Sunday night, so
that I may once again partake in the festivities here. Not that I'm
a party kinda guy, but you know what I mean.
If possible, I'm going to try to do a few e-mails tonight; I
definitely want to clean up all these wires and crap from assembling
this computer first, though.
So keep icy, folks, and I'll be back up to speed faster than the
Trio can work their way through even the most stubborn of pant
zippers!

Geeze, hope everything is okay now. I know you've been going through a hell
of alot of mess, Jim. Hope you dont have anymore bad news than what you just
posted.
