I'll look around and see if I have any pics. Otherwise, I'll just
make a few quick sketches illustrating the footwear.

The sandals aren't specific for each side. For digitigrade, the
sandals would be very small, just enough the cover the part of the
foot which would normally come in contact with the ground. The
straps would meet between the two center toes. I think I drew a pic
of Val wearing sandals (in a yellow dress with a lot of wind blowing
about).

They are probably more comfortable barefooted, but on surfaces
such as asphalt and even gravel, they'd probably prefer to have some
sort of protection. No sense getting cuts or calluses! Not to
mention how uncomfortable it would be to, say, operate a motorcycle
shifter sans boots!
