Yes, and some feet don't need the same protection that others do. My
paws are dear to me and I do wear steel toed shoes when in a dangerous
area. I also wear instep protection when working with some types of
tools, jackhammers come to mind. Footwear has as much to do with your
work and lifestyle as it does with purrsonal choice.
