If I may make one comment here, I wanted to mention that while I like
furry paws, the practice of depicting furry characters as going
barefoot all the time no matter what the circumstances is in fact
very trite, and I like to see them wear shoes at least on occasion.
Wearing a business suit or military uniform and going barefoot simply
looks ridiculous, and I hate to see any creature being forced to walk
over rough or hot surfaces on unprotected feet simply for the sake of
a cliche. Even real-life people who normally go barefoot say that
they do own and wear shoes on occasions where going barefoot just
isn't feasible, say on hot asphalt lots or rough stones.
