That project has been put on hold. I still have every intention
on doing it, but other things must be taken care of first before I
will actually have any decent amount of time to devote to it.
To date, I have the script, a few model sheets, a couple of short
storyboard sequences, and various "test animations", which are
little more than rough sketches of actions. Oh, and I think there
are 3 or 4 backgrounds that are done.
My initial problem (which was also evident in the work I had done
on "Cassie's New Toy") was that I was trying to draw _too_ many
frames, and it was incredibly slow. Having never taken any sort of
animation class (though I DID make a flip book of Ivory from "By The
Tail" many years ago), I'm having to learn by trial and error.
Once I have this bankruptcy shit under my belt, and the web design
stuff taken care of for a resort company, I'll be able to dedicate
more time to furry art and such. As it is now, I'm back to working
every day, and I get an average of 5-6 hours of sleep per night if
I'm lucky. If I didn't HAVE to eat or sleep, I think I could
accomplish so much more. Damn these mortal coils!
There _will_ be a section on the Skunkworks site, devoted to
animations and such. But first to come up will be the new
Merchandise section, since Second Ed is linking to my old version,
and not all the numbers are correct anymore. Gimme another day, and
I'll have the new, proper stuff back up.
On a related note, I rarely "drop" any projects. They
unfortunately get shoved onto the back burner. But the heat is on a
low simmer, so there's no chance they'll burn or be forgotten...
