I assume you mean the engine heads and oil pump? Yeah,
it'd be history... :-/

Did you need an instruction manual for the tranny or
anything? Corbin (Talbain) was saying he could probably
source one for you, if you like.

A good tip I was given by a guy at the airbrushing course:
Get a clapped out, but desireable model car, do a hot
custom spray job on it (or a half arsed spray job with an
airbrush, custom graphics whatever - most people can't tell
anyway) and sell it as an 'unfinished street machine
project waiting engine and transmission'. Fine if you
want to practice spraying on something, though not so good
if pressed for time. :-(

Hmmm, most small cars over here rival bikes for ownership
costs. Serivce intervals are about double the frequency
with a bike than most small cars and cost more to do. Only
$50/year difference in registration ($450-bike, $500-car,
ouch) and fuel economy of many small cars is similar with
cheaper parts like tyres etc lasting way longer. Less fun,
but safer and more practical. :-( Like I told someone the
other day when buying a replacement chain for my GS, fuel
is the only cheap bit about biking. New helmets and gloves
etc (that are worth wearing) cost a tonne (typically $450 &
$120 respectively).

No insurance is fine if you don't injure yourself and can
do a runner (and subsequently lose the bike or car), but if
you plough into a Mercedes (banish the thought) and you are
lying on the road, you'd better have insurance! Though in
your case, already being bankrupt, I guess it makes little
difference... :-/

On a final note, for those whinging about the cost of
petrol, fuel over the weekend hit a new record high of
$1.10/Litre for regular unleaded. That's equivalent of you
in the USA paying $4.95/Gallon. And in Europe I believe it
is worse!

Scrapper, Black Dragon, riding small bikes, driving a small
engined truck to try and ease the pain in the hip pocket.
