No. The Barr Wars was an artists' war
that occurred mainly during the late
80s and the 90s that originally started
in the Cantaurs Gatherium fanzine. Among
the major participants were Donna Barr
of Stinz and Desert Peach Fame (whom the
War was named after), Jim Groat (whose
comments about where Stinz lives started
the war), Terrie Smith, Mike Higgs,
Karno, Frank Gembeck, Scudder Kidwell,
Mel White and Marci. I have no idea if
the War is still going on, since I was
a member of the Dallas Brawl Update,
which was a sort of spin-off of the
main war. The different is, the public
was allowed to see what going on with
the Brawl, since issues were sold via
Ed.
