You should've seen my face when I went to see about insurance for my
first new car - an '89 Honda Civic Hatch w/ Manual Everything (I turned
down the option for the "Fred Flintstone" Breaking system) for $10,000....

"Four Thousand dollars a year?! I could not have insurance, pay the fine
every month and not pay that much!"

Turned out I was right - the fine WOULD have cost less. (I no longer own
that car, sadly... That was the nicest 50 MPG I ever got!)
