I ride my Cruiser with just a leather helmet or a bandana because
the full helmet gives me a fuckin migrane, and I'm not convinced that
said helmet would make a bit of difference if I went flyin off at 80 MPH
and got wrapped around a guard rail during the morning commute.
But like this victim, my biggest worries or feeling of un-safety, is
at slower speeds, anything between 15 and 45 because that's
what it is on most streets and thats where I've seen the majority
of other bikers hit or run into by the morons in cars who like to
distract themselves just because they're the ones with a full metal
frame cages around them. Us and the pedestrians have accepted
our risks and if we live through it we'll sue the fuckin shit out of them
so they'll have a long time to think before they can drive recklessly
again.
