It's the old 'use what is available' technique. In this
case, an arm was handy. And she was no longer a threat
since she had been disarmed... :-P
Humor is someone else's misfortune - think about it!
Generally the more unfortunte, the funnier. Someone slips
over and plants their tail end squarely on the ground.
Laughs for observers, but ouch for the victim. If you want
to do well with slap-stick type comedy, anything that makes
you look rediculous or the underdog will generally get
laughs. Humans are _so_ nice to each other! :-/
