I didn't want to push my luck and request a pic, since I
know you are pretty pressed for time. Besides, unless
something is pressuring me to do more/better/faster, I tend
to fritter away the time, talk big and do little. I could
have posted and B&W sketch today and got the drop on you!
No one did 2000, nor 3000, so I figured I'd better pic up
the pencils.
Sunk 2.5 hours of drawing time into it last night (after
about an hour finding suitable pics to assist me drawing
the girls). Basic poses are now correct, but NOT happy
with the rest. Will go over the pic and do a muscle
analysis to fix up shapes, then a focal analysis to get
depth correct, then I'll light box the who lot onto another
sheet, ink then add colour. Bit of work ahead of me. Then
it _may_ be good enough to post.
I was going to draw them clothed, but it isn't really much
hassle to remove the clothing. I'll see how I go, but I
suspect I'll stick with sexy outfits as it lets me 'hide'
more of my poor skills.
I'm getting tired of turning out mediocre crap. Been
studing the anatomy / musculature charts on the wall of the
medical centre while I was waiting for a client (I was to
fix their datalogging PC) - things make SO much more sense
when you put the muscle lines in at the correct attachment
points, etc. Hence why I'm going to work over the pic and
apply the new knowledge. Have to see how we go.
Jim - can you PLEASE do model sheets for the sisters and
their mum? Standard profile and front-on like you did for
Des would be immensely helpful! Especially showing the fur
markings, for although all four body shapes are similar,
the stripes are quite varied. Didn't realise Natsha had a
black neck till studying a pic last night. And yes, the
underside of her tail does appear to be all white.
Your pic will go up this weekend and mine should go up just
after, once I return to the office and an uplink. :-)
Scrapper, Black Dragon, needing to challenge himself to
keep the force on, and this seems like a suitable challenge.
