*snickers* There is something seriously wrong, but
hilariously funny about my mental image of that! :-) May
be the conflict of innocense, sealed fate and conflicting
stereotype that cute and furry should be lovable.

Heck, with time being so pressing, I guess you can use all
the help you can get. They can start by doing the laundry,
then vacuum the house then move on to the garden...
Very good use of imagery there Jim - it causes a strong
emotional response in the viewer, that is indeed the
intent! Similar to the bus image.
The bunny is cute and restrained, appealing to our sense
'cute/sympathy'.
Humour is someone else's misfortune, the more unforunate,
the funnier. This bunny is about to be toast and has no
way of saving itself, so amusing in that regard.
The tear rolling down its cheek is again an appeal to
'cute/sympathy' as the poor creature knows its fate and
regrets the inevitable. It also draws the viewer in; we
are empowered to imagine what will happen next. Will the
bunny become a fluffly cloud or will someone step in at the
last second to save it?
Any chance when you get bored one day you can do another
sketch of this? The funny/wrong part of my mind would like
to see it in your red pencil sketch style. :-)
This in some ways is similar to one of the 'great fax
jokes' with the mouse standing and giving the Churchill
Salute (two fingers) to a giant eagle that is swooping
down, eyes fixed on its target, huge talons extended about
to make lunch of the mouse. The picture is titled "The
Last Great Act of Defiance".
Funny because the mouse's facing the invitable, yet chooses
to rebel futily in the face of imminent doom.
Thoughts furs? (Anyone at all out there thinking?)
Scrapper, Black Dragon, like, way deep and meaning full dude!
