Mink to be used in porn all over the internet. While the expanse of
the internet allows people to hide the fact they are doing so, don't
mistake the idea that you can get away with it for quite some time as
the same thing as it being perfectly legal to do so.

Pretty much agree with everything you said, but I want to add
something: You can't copyright a character. You can trademark the
name, but not the likeness. Or to put it simply: As long as I'm not
selling them, or in any way profiting from them, I can draw all the
naked Minerva Mink pictures I want. BUT..I can't call the young mink-
lady I've drawn Minerva Mink, or use the Warner Brothers symbol, or
mention the Animaniacs television show. Using the symbol or
mentioning the show violates copyright, calling her Minerva violates
the trademark. But as long as I call her somethin else (even if it's
an obvious parody), and it's free, I'm okay legally. That still
doesn't mean I won't get wacked by Yahoo if Warner Brothers complains
though. warner actually pays them, not me. Rumor has it though that
the groups are being sold, or that Yahoo is at least considering
their sale.
