One of the reasons I like to sketch in pen when I am
practicing. Stops me stuffing around and erasing etc.
Think the line out, draw it. If you mess up, finish off as
good as you can, then draw it again. Fine for practice,
not so good for 'major works'.

Talking with Tokes yesterday and he was saying that regular
pens and inks are not much good if you want your artworks
to last, since they tend to fade. If drawing just for a
comic that will be subsequently scanned, printed, etc, then
it matters less if the original fades, but for presentation
pieces, Tokes said Indian Ink, usually applied with a brush
is the go. His descriptions suggested inking is a whole
skill in itself, let alone drawing and colouring. How do
you do your inking? Have you done any with brush and
Indian ink? How does Des do her inking? Do you have any
recommendations or tips for those of us starting out?

At least it is making positive progress and you can't hate
that. So it is frequently 'pirate Jim' when drawing?

Hey, thank-you for sharing! Yeah, okay, so you held back a
little, but it is more than we'd have got otherwise! :-)

Scrapper, Black Dragon, many questions...
