I think it comes down to being so widely distributed, etc,
that we are rarely on at the same time. It was tried a
while ago, but was generally unsuccessful. I tend to
'relay mail' as I am often called away from my PC at a
moment's notice, making me no fun to chat with, though I
will reply to email.
Most topics of conversation tend to come up on the forum
anyway, generally eliminating the need to use chat. Gives
more furs more chance to respond that way too. It is
amazing who knows what!
