How do _you_ say?

One of those questions that has come to mind a while ago,
but only raised to light again recently when I was dealing
with someone of the same name.

We all know that you don't pronounce the last part of
Lori's name if you like the ability to walk (or worse!)
*under cover of his hand* That's "Lorianne" for those that
haven't heard... But do you pronounce her name "lawri"
(same sound as law) or "lorry" (same sound as hot)? I had
been using "lorry", till someone mentioned to me that the
girl working on the same floor pronounced her name "lawri",
though today I was dealing with an enthusiastic girl in at
a remote site who pronounces her name "lorry".

Will the honourable James M Hardiman, now presiding, please
give judgement on the presented case...

As long as it isn't like a guy I used to work with who's
name was "Ivan", but pronounced "Bob"... :-/

I don't think there is any contention in the pronunciation
of Natasha and for those who may be confused, the Y in Onyx
is pronounced as an I... :-P

Reviewing the polls, it does seem to justify what Jim has
said on his FAQ on his web site, that the 'nastier' stuff
generally sells better. Unsurprisingly, there are no
prudes casting votes...

Scrapper, Black Dragon, who will consider polls and post
them as he gets time.
