Probably for the longer lines. I used to have a real steady
hand. I shake a bit now, though, but not too bad,

The Twinstar was my first bike, and it's a good one. I rebuilt
the entire thing from the ground up years ago, including the
engine. Besides, no one has ever made a 200cc chopper, so far as I
know. And I never do the same shit everyone else does.

I'll likely have it made at the same time as the frame. I can do
all the math, as well as the blueprinting for the frame; I just
don't have the experience or tools to actually build it!

The front suspension will be black, except for the actual
springs. Ditto with the rear. I don't want the bike to be one of
these chromed monsters that seem to be preferred by the cruiser
crowd these days. I like old fashioned...

Having them vertical helps to accentuate the thin profile of the
front end. Plus, it also echoes the shades of my old Caddy...

The carb is a slide-valve, and the inlet is a short U-shaped
pipe. Air filter will either be an open-aired cone (pointing
towards the front of the bike), or a sealed circular filter, housed
in a Hillborn-style induction scoop.

Yeah. The old 2.9 gallon tank needed to be bigger.

I may go with some small bullet-shaped ones, if necessary. I've
seen lots of bikes down here (customs, not daily drivers) sans
blinkers. I could also incorporate them into the overall design a
bit, so they don't look bolted-on.

PS- For folks not interested in this crap, future mails about this
subject will be confined to e-mail, and not group messages. Let's
face it, most of you are here for furry porn, not the incessant
ramblings of two motorcycle-obsessed gearheads!
