I generally draw that way too. If you have been shown how
to use a structure like the ones Shawntae posted (big
thank-you for that, I'll be getting plenty of use out of
those!), then that page will be very helpful to you. I
tend to place the nose then eyes and ears, then fill in the
gaps. The exception being when I draw short nosed faces I
tend to do the eyes first, then nose, ears, etc.

That was a fantastic thing I learnt through Airbrush
Venturi was how to break down and describe (then even have
a 'language' for doing so!) an effect, letting you analyse
and copy anything you can see (or imagine). I guess that
is one thing where Tokes is good too, as he knows how to
describe something as well as break it down to assist
drawing it. Incidentally, Tokes was very impressed with
the car and bike pic, thanks for posting them. :-)
Scrapper, Black Dragon, the only two things he knows he can
do better than JMH in regard to art is describe what he
sees and see in 3D...
