As mentioned in a previous thread last weekend I took a collection
of furry pics as well as my copy of "Collected
Skunkworks", "Skunkworks Reflections" tribute book and a small
Sasha "grind magazine" photo shoot book (from back when Bernal was
going by the name Cullen). To a meeting I went to. Well, the pics
and such were meant to show one person what a furry is... well I
showed her and before I realized there was a crowd gathered.
Now I admit this particular gathering of friends was a little more
open minded then most lol. It was a BDSM munch (friendly lunch
gathering / question&answer session) so to them it was just another
kink I guess lol, but being the one there that knew more about furrys
then anyone else, I kinda got labeled as the expert (only other
people there that knew anything about furry had seen it on that
episode of CSI). There were some that said it wasn't there thing, but
the majority of the place was loving the pictures. One memorable
comment was "Oh wow that's so coo..... Oh my God she's got nipples"
followed by giggles. (most at the meet are between the ages 25~mid
40s)
The Skunkworks pics went over well (fav by far of Skunkworks was
Des's pic in the tribute book "Let it rip") AFter seeing them then
hearing about Jim's eye's everyone was amazed at your work. The pics
that got the most attention of all however were actual Jay Naylor's
but I think that was because he has several "BDSM" related furry art.
A lot of comments about the ropework drawn being true to life, and
other comments like "hey i tried that" or "i want that harness".
Overall the group loved all the furry pics (both adult oriented and
not) and not one person had a negative comment about it all night.
Just wanted to share a positive "furry" story.
