Wonderful thing. Try to keep the group moving too, now
you've made a push with the web site. :-)

What have you done with James Hardiman??? JMH never 'took
it easy'! :-P Or you just mellowing in your old age? :-P

Zip disks are NOT a good archive medium. They have the
same reliability (since they use the same technology) as
floppy disks. So if you want to store data for more than a
week or so, I strongly advise the use of CDs. At ~30c
each, compact discs are cheaper, higher capacity and longer
lived than even the best of the Zip drives.

I presume you have put a backup of the web site on CD? Is
most definitely worth while before it does like the
ill-fated web site of Lot 6 (I think it was) that vanished
into the ether.

*whistles* Damn, that's going to be a task and half! It
took me two weeks to catch up after only two weeks absence!
But if you're only monitoring SAMA traffic, then you are
likely to have a lighter load. Good luck!

Yeah, but it's got to be done, else the bills don't get
paid and you get that hungry feeling all the time (and
stuff like laundry etc do need to be done at least
fornightly!), so I understand where you're coming from.
I've posted a poll to get furs opinions on how we should
manage the links section to keep interest and relevance in
regard to what the group hosts. I think much of our appeal
is to do with keeping things 'ship shape' in addition to
high quality submissions (many thanks to those who have
been having-a-go and submitting fan art).
Scrapper, Black Dragon, needing to do more time at the
drawing desk (though I have got back to writing recently)!
