Well, see, the way I see it, folks are gonna post artwork from
different artists whether or not the artists approve (aka piracy).
My offer to the admins of those sites? Allow me, and only me, to
post my material, and I will post new artwork as it becomes
available. For example, if I finish a brand-new picture, I'll post
it on the Yahoo! group, Fchan, and Furrynest.com. The benefits?
Folks can get new art before it even hits the presses, and I can
moderate the posting of my art. Plus, it also helps with
advertising. Any artist dead-set against trying something like this
(a cooperative effort) is only shooting themselves in the foot. It
is a simple solution to a simple problem, and both sides benefit.
Besides, the fighting and screaming get pretty old after
awhile... ;)
