If Jim started a web log, we could see how his art is
progressing, though I suspect it would read something like:
6:00AM get up, usual stuff.
7:00AM ride to work
7:15AM near miss with old biddy in Cadillac
8:00AM start work
9:00AM old biddy in Cadilla wants to post something to
someone, somewhere, but can't remember details. Repeat for
majority of day with other customers...
1:00PM Lunch break
1:15pm back to work - more fools sending stuff somewhere.
5:00pm boss goes home, close store, do paperwork.
7:00pm ride home, near miss with stray animal that is
startled by howl of exhaust and blinded by bike headlight.
8:00pm do long overdue maintenance/repair on bike
9:00pm eat something (un-identifiable) from fridge. Do
dishes and other stuff that 'needs' doing.
11:00pm start sketch of drawing.
12:00AM ink sketch.
1:00AM check emails, answer a few.
2:00AM decide that really should get some sleep, shower
bed, lights out ~3AM.
Repeat the next day...

Patience required. Jim's busy and Des doesn't generally
have a high throughput. I have been drawing for a few
other people recently (and am damn slow as well) so unless
you ask a few of the other talents around, it may be quiet
for a while. I'm still tapping out one of the stories -
getting there slowly.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but the best suggestion I can
give is go visit Ed Zolna's site
www.second-ed-mailorder.com and purchase a few of the
comics through him. I was going to re-read a one of mine
last night till I realised the time and decided sleep
would be smarter!

Scrapper, Black Dragon, it may be frustrating, but it is
the way that it currently is.
