Re: The Tabitha bullshit...

Tabitha was created by Desiree, and the three images she drew were
for use on the TJA site. It was decided, from the beginning, that
the character would be a flirtatious tease, not another sex-kitten
getting screwed every which way imaginable, especially getting
anally raped by tentacle monsters. I mean, come on. The character
has an actual personality. Use it! This is what has pissed Des
off, and I can't say I blame her. If the character had been
portrayed _within_ character on the TJA site (read her bio on Val's
page, and see how it differs vastly from what's being drawn about
her now) then there wouldn't have been any problem.
Des had stated she wouldn't have had any problem drawing more
Tabitha pictures for the site, but I think she's a little ticked
that everyone else has decided the character is free-reign, and
folks can draw whatever they want. To the best of my knowledge,
that's what Des's problem is with the current situation. She
wouldn't mind people drawing the character at TJA, provided they
stick to the profile. As it is, it'd be like a bunch of folks
drawing the skunks doing...um...holy things. Like going to church
or praying or some shit like that. ;D It'd be completely out of
character for them, so that's why it's not drawn.
Des will be coming down next weekend if you'd like to contact her
regarding this event.
I would highly suggest not turning this into some kind of rant or
flame-war, out of respect for the members of this group. They do
not want to have to read about people having fits online. As for it
being hard to get ahold of me, I'm currently working two jobs, and
may be starting a third one in April. Obviously, free time is not
something I have much of.
Hopefully, this will be the last bickering post about this subject
on this group. Any future correspondence regarding the subject?
Please e-mail me off-group.
I'm sure the group members will thank us for keeping such
discussions out of their hair.
