Been getting enough exercise recently? Kills my ability to
get a good night's sleep if I'm mentally drained, but
physically charged. We could get the Terrible Trio to stir
you up and tire you out chasing around after their furry
hides. :-)
Lori peers around corner of the living room; "I don't see
him."
Onyx, looking over her sister's shoulder, steps cautiously
into the room. "That's bad; he was really ticked after we
put that green food dye into the stew he was cooking for
his dinner."
"Well, not such much after we put it in as when he saw the
colour of the bottom of the plate when he'd finished eating
it and then looked in the mirror at the colour of his lips
and throat..." Natasha peered past Onyx, stepping
cautiously into the room.
"No sign of him; that could be good or bad," Lori joined
her eldest sister, standing inside the living room doorway.
A grunt startled the nervous trio of skunks, Natasha
squeaked with fright. There sitting in the easy chair was
Jim, slouched, head forward, green slime dribbling from the
side of his mouth.
"Eeeew! What that! And what was that green colouring? It
didn't have any warning about sleeping side effects!" Onyx
cautiously approached the sleeping body of James Hardiman.
Lori boldy strode up beside the unconscious form. "Hey!"
The loud snore in reply confirmed her suspcion. "He's
asleep," the mephitedae observed. "I think all that
chasing us around for the last hour has tuckered him out
and he's just passed out in the chair. And he's going the
green drool from all that nice, green food dye!" She
smirked at Jim's unfortuante predicament.
"Should we wake him up?" Onyx came closer to verify it was
indeed green dye.
"No, let him sleep. At least he's less likely to be snakey
at us when he does wake up." Natasha suggested, turning to
leave the room.
"Should we like, put him to bed or something?" Onyx looked
concerned, gazing over Jim's sleeping form.
"Nah, he'd probably wake up, knowing our luck, then accuse
us of it all being part of a big conspiracy against him.
Besides, he's heavy." Lori dismissed her younger sister's
suggestion with a flick of her paw.
Natasha pulled the throw rug from the couch and carefully
covered Jim, Onyx placing a tissue to absorb green dribble.
"Nighty-night Jim!" Natasha called softly as she shooed
her sisters from the room, turning off the light behind
her. "Now he's asleep, it is time for some serious fun!"
Scrapper, Black Dragon, why do I get the urge to write
these things when I am totally lacking time?
PS, What is the reserve price you are looking for with
those originals? Save a lot of time in wandering around
and 'competitive bidding' when the product is not even 'on
the market' yet. S,BD.
