This picture was on the group, posted by JMH, for a while,
though I couldn't see it when I had a bit of a cruise. I
suspect it has been moved to the fan-art section of
Skunked. It is the pic with Fisk elbow deep in Lori
pulling out a mound of hardware with a fireman telling him
to move aside to so he can get in with a pair of 'jaws of
life'.
Wasn't planning on answering this now, since there are
other people 'ahead in the queue', but since I'm here...
I think it may be 'more practice' (ie, the more you do the
better you get), but I think the face and body structures
are better in this (and the more recent) pictures.
Structuring is a little like physiology, but more to do
with how pieces sit together. Things like eye being 'in'
the head as opposed to being 'painted on the outside',
depths and offsets being in proportion etc. For although
the physiology can be correct (things all in the right
places, shapes, etc), if they are not collated properly,
then they look like a collection of parts. As was saying
things just seem to sit better in this pic. :-)
I love Lori's facial expression. :-) She's got an ego
that well lends itself to this sort of response. Shading
and redering look good, though this has always been a JMH
strong point. Focus and shapes look good. On technical
aspects, this is probably one of the better sketches JMH's
posted recently. And you can't hate that!
As for how does Lori get them out again: think 'ping pong
ball trick'...
Scrapper, Black Dragon, catching up on mail, almost! :-)
