I'm glad to finally hear they think they can fix both eyes. Beyond
everything else, art or otherwise, that is the most important thing that
could possible go right. Gotta drop me a line some time, we'll go grab
some Streak n. Shake or something.. Nice to hear about the updates...
but that pales in comparison to your health..

Best wishes

Jim

Well, actually, I just haven't been online much for the past few
weeks. Here's what's been going on:
Regarding the vision situation, the retina specialist seems to
think that he can restore the vision in both of my eyes to 20/25.
Two operations will be required for the left eye, and they'll be
performed simultaneously. A vitrectomy (to remove the massive
amount of retinal scar tissue), and an operation to remove the
cataract in the left eye. I plan on undergoing surgery in July
sometime. It is likely that I will not be able to get assistance
from Medicaid, since I now work a job which pays me nearly double
what I was making at my previous job, and therefore cannot qualify
for the low-income portion of the program requirements. But no big
deal. If I gotta pay for it, then so be it. It'll just take me a
long-ass time to pay it off. No rush on my part!
The Skunkworks site is still being worked on, but it's nearing
completion. The "hidden site" is also being assembled now as well,
and you all know that as soon as the Skunkworks site is finished,
that secret site will be online. Also, I realize I haven't updated
BTT for awhile; I will get to that probably next weekend. Des was
over here this weekend, but we didn't do much in the way of
drawing. >;P
By the end of this month, I will have the next Skunkworks folio
completed, and plan on having "Bigger Than Life" follow shortly
after. I'd like to get those two finished before I undergo any
surgery. Also, I'm toying around with some ideas for (gasp!) t-
shirts and decals. More information will be made available as I
proceed with their designs. I'll probably hold a poll or something.
I'd originally hoped to have a full color picture ready to post
here, but it's gonna be a few more days before it's finished. But
I'll give you a hint: it's devilishly tasty. I've got a few
sketches I will try to post during the course of this week; many of
them deal with folks like Treska, Onika, and Khetzel. But there are
a few of the trio in there, including a new one of Valencia! So
stay tuned, and I'll post them in small increments. Looks like I'm
gonna have to weed out some of the older artwork in the files
section as well, in order to make room for new stuff. I reckon I'll
get to that this week before I post anything.
Other than that, life is busy! Hang tight, and I'll get this mess
caught up as quickly as humanly possible...
