Changed the subject line, as we've definitely shifted
topic!

Uniforms do seem to lend appeal, to both sexes from my
experience. I quite like girls in uniform (I often work
with the police, so I get to see quite a few 'women in
uniform') and part of the idea of a uniform is that it adds
to one's image and credibility. You tend to respect
someone a little more if they are in uniform. Think of the
bottom end of the scale - if a courier arrives and he's in
work blues with a logo on the pocket (even if he is sweaty,
grubby, etc), he tends to carry more cred than if he were
wearing old blue jeans and a t-shirt of similar shabby
condition. Even though he may be dirty, the uniform adds
credibility as a professional.

Suits are always a good look too. I find ties annoying,
but girls love a guy nicely attired in a suit and the tie
does add to the whole appearance. Even I have to admit it
looks good. Full formal for weddings may be a hassle, but
it looks _really_ good in the photos - so definitely worth
the cost and effort to hire a good suit. Many of my ex's
often made getting out of the house difficult on the few
days when I needed to wear full tie, suit jacket, etc as
they always think you look so good that they want to
caress and fuss as opposed to letting you get to that
important meeting. It's good when you get home though,
especially if you have good news to relay from the meeting!
:-)

Like the height of the back of a chair, the length of a
jacket tends to add to a person's perceived importance. I
think this works to some degree with anthros and tails.
Consider this. Someone wearing a baseball jacket somehow
has more cred than someone in just a shirt. Someone in a
suit jacket has more cred than the baseball jacket. A
dinner jacket goes that next step and out creds a suit
jacket. The real draw cards are trench coats. On days
when I need to dress to impress, I wear a colourful shirt
(business style) with a tie (for plenty of contrast) with a
black leather vest and an ankle length black leather trench
coat (matrix style). People DO notice when you walk in to
the room! Instant level of credibility (then I open my
mouth and that ruins the illusion...) And surprisingly,
you nearly _never_ get hassled by customers whinging about
things when so attired, compared to homing in on you as
soon as you arrive if you are wearing just a business shirt
and slacks.

Sounds like an option for a 'softer' folio (so not likely
to appear on JMH's list!) - girls in uniform. The SAMA
crew each attired in a different uniform from a different
service, with a few 'adjustments' to keep the interest in.
:-) Nothing like having an extra top button or two undone,
eh? ;-)

Scrapper, Black Dragon, perception is reality - if they
think you're goofing off, you'll still get your tail
kicked, even if you aren't. :-(
