Correct - either for ease of drawing, or it just looks
better. As Jim pointed out, he draws most of his charaters
digitigrade due to it being a superior stance for rapid
motion, even though skunks (as I learnt through prior
discussion on this group) are, like ferrets, plantigrade.

Once you get the structure right, packing in the detail to
a level that makes people go "Whoa" is the big trick. It
takes time, skill and effort. Sometime it is better to go
with simple lines than trying to do too muc and making
ruining the effect due to detail. They wouldn't use soft
filters on cameras if this weren't true!
Scrapper, Black Dragon, who doesn't own a soft filter and
strongly advises NEVER smearing anything on a camera lens!
