For Broadcast over the open airwaves perhaps, but you can get away with
murder on Cable or Satalite. I've noticed a lot of shows that used to be
shown on the Big Three a couple of decades ago, and now are social hot
potatoes, are being shown on cable. My guess is their reply to any criticism
is 'this is a private showing, can only be seen by people who pay, and if
you don't like, don't watch it.'.

Modern broadcast reminds me of an old saying about a 'vast wasteland'.
