You're welcome - it is you who requires thanking for the
awesome contributions!

It pays to scan/print or photocopy your work before
colouring, so if you mess up, it was only a photocopy and
you can do it again. I used to do like you and colour the
original till Tokes showed me that there was another way
and there isn't really a need to colour the original - yes,
it is nice to have the sketch, ink and colour all done on
the one piece of paper, but if you are going to scan, print
or whatever, no one can tell anyway. So make it easier on
the artist and make as many copies as you need!
Do you mind if we have a go at adding a bit of colour? I
am sure there are a few photoshop fiends who may like to
have a try and I feel tempted to drag out the paints. (Have
to wait till I go home, since I am visiting friends and
using their uplink.)

It's just a different style - that I quite like. It
depends on what you are applying the drawing to what may be
more suitable, but you have to be commended for the detail
accuracy in the characters and general 'plausible detail'
in other objects. When you draw a character, there is no
doubt as to who the character is supposed to be - you get
them correct!

I showed your last few pics to Tokes (pro for about 15
years) and he was quite impressed with your level of work,
especially considering the time frame. Tokes teaches
cartoon style drawing as well as doing posters and comics
for Live to Ride magazine as well as does the occasional
commission for the Australian surfwear brand Mambo
(
http://www.mambo.com.au/mambo.html - 'intersting' web
site... O_o) Like all things, it is fine to experiment,
but if you stick to what you are good at and enjoy doing,
then reputation will find you on its own.

I do a few short works, but am often inspired by ideas from
Skunkworks and feel the need to launch off into larger
projects. :-)

That is a pretty safe bet - reviewing events in my head,
this 'aspect' comes through at least once in the story. :-D

Fantastic! As I get more done to the point where you can
draw some useful ideas, I'll mail you off group. This
could end up a very impressive little project!

I think Onyx was mumbling something about wanting your for
something else, since Lori seemed to have been getting all
the best toys of late. ;-)
Your latest trike pic is well detailed and has excellent
depth - something for me to aspire to! Awesome detail
everywhere you loo - it is the attention to detail that
really makes many pictures. Get the structures correct and
the rest is in the detail. One of the reasons JMH's pics
are so popular - he packs in the detail.
Probably the only major improvement I can suggest is if you
are able to use photoshop or someother editing package and
do the writing using a computer based font. There is
nothing really wrong with your writing, but it looks that
extra level of professional using a computer set font.
Finding a type face that looks suitable (without having to
pay for it) may be a bit of a challenge. Anyone got a good
link?
Scrapper, Black Dragon, visiting friends and making use of
an internet connection. :-)
