The image is about six inches square. After the base coats have
been wet sanded, the image will be applied to the painted surface,
and then the whole thing will be sealed with urethane clear. Am I
concerned about what other folks might think about it? Heh heh.
Since when have I ever cared about that? If someone says they find
it offensive, I could say the same thing about those friggin' Jesus
fish that eople have on their trunk lids or bumpers. It's all just
an opinion...
So no, I'm not worried about trying to cover the image up. The
paint job is a little tricky to do, since it's actually 2 different
types of paints, and it's being laid on in stages (so as to prevent
any problems with non-compatibility). SHould have the whole thing
done in about 10-12 days! In the meantime, I'll post the full-color
picture (background is black, because the bike is black). Okay,
thunderstorm is getting much too close for comfort now. Will get
online again after the foul weather passes!
