We tend to only us memory blocks for small areas where it
is hard to get your hand or fingers into ensuring that the
finish is flat. For large areas, using your palm (those of
you with furry palms may have an advantage!) gives best
results. Not great for your skin, but that's automotive
painting for you. :-/

Finally had a chance to look at the pic. I think with the
black background, it tends to mute the colours a lot. What
I would suggest is a 'dark contrast' behind Onika to bring
her forward. Either a 'ripped', 'geometric' or 'starburst'
shape behind her in something like dark (candy?) purple to
bring her outlines 'off' the background. This is a very
good technique for cartoon characters on most mediums. Car
bodywork, t-shirts, paper! Using a 'splash of colour' to
improve the contrast and 'focus' the view on the character.
Something I'd definitely consider in this instance,
especially considering the black background.

Character herself I think should carry sufficient attitude
without being 'downright vulgar'; it is 'just nudity' and
she isn't human for those who are 'funny' about that sort
of thing.

I suspect it would result in a water fight, resulting in
Jim accidentally getting sprayed and subsequently 'spitting
it' due to trying to concentrate on what he's doing.

Silly question; since you are up to the painting stage, I
presume the rest of the bike is operational?

On a side topic of 'small cc choppers', the 36cc and 52cc
'minichoppers' (monkey bike style if you prefer) were
becoming popular with the under 18's here in Australia,
till the Police spelt out the rules in regard to 1) you
still need a licence to ride anything bigger than 31cc on
the road (or 200W, which ever is less) and 2) anything
requiring a licence to operate, also requires registration,
than means it has to comply with road regulations for
lights, etc, etc, that there is no way these bikes can.
Effectively meaning unless you had a big property with lots
of concrete, they are illegal. That quashed sales! Some
of the 52cc models could do speeds up to 50mph - that's
pretty fast considering the size of the vehicle! At least
yours will be road registered, I presume, Jim.

On another side tangent - what happened with your Shadow?
I'd have thought you would have finished that first!

Scrapper, Black Dragon, who hasn't forgotten, just slower moving.
