*smiles* Ah, someone else remembers this too! It was a
SWF file (two of them actually). I don't have the text
file on this computer (LONG STORY - not what you expect or
would guess - I'll reveal more later!), but I do still have
the file and will post it for all to see, when I get to
that PC next (probably about a week). The original
animated GIF was done by JMH (if memory serves correctly)
and the SWF was compiled by David Tapia - he runs a radio
show that can be freely downloaded from
www.ardilla.furtopia.org. If you like modern and techno
type music, definitely worth visiting - the Funker Vogt
show release last week is good stuff (says he who has
several of their albumns).
The first animation that had "Wild Thing" in it was a
variety of artists ranging from Pink Floyd to Apoptygma
Berzerk (pronounced A-pop-tig-ma Berzerk, aka APB). The
second animation was entirely APB music (I have most of
their albumns). If you are looking to purchase their
albumns, Metropolis Records (that sells online) is their
distributor and I have had no trouble purchasing through
them directly (considering I am in another country, that
says something!) Not that I advocate 'downloading' music
(get someone else to do it for you *cough*), but most can
be had from your favourite peering network.
Yes, I know I owe people replies - I'm working on it. My
uplink is slower than ever (maxed the download limit - darn
it!) and physical constraints are making things more
difficult than usual. I will respond - please be patient!
Scrapper, Black Dragon, temporarily crippled, in the
literal sense. :-(
