The Mousely Love Girls (MLG), Charlene and Lynne (blonde,
brunette) are played by real people, who are women in real
life (there's something uncommon!). As was mentioned and
to the best of my limited knowledge, live with Herbie Bear
and are girl-on-girl inclined in Real Life as well as in
the pics. Since I don't know a lot about them, I could be
also reinterating popularly held myths.
The MLG requested Des do them a folio, that is being done
in conjunction with Jim, hence the Better Mousetrap folio.
The MLG have a 'thing' for Des, and her art, but Des
doesn't play both teams, either as the character or the
light in Jim's life.

Someone actually used the message archive - I'm impressed!
The MLG's Yahoo group is probably the best place to find
more about them. See:

No the MLG are not Jim's characters and are copyright to
themselves, if I understand correctly. Though I believe
Terri Smith had quite a bit to do with designing their
character features originally. I don't have any of Terri's
artwork with me at the moment that I can refer and see who
the characters are attributed to, since I know there are
pics about of Chester the ringtail (Terri's commonly
occurring, bisexual male character) playing around with the
MLG. I only deleted the pic I'd uploaded of Chester to
this group just the other day - typical! You throw
something out, then someone wants it!
Scrapper, Black Dragon, probably only slightly helpful this
time around.
