Actually, the last 7 pages of that comic were merely a joke. In
reality (if it can be called that!), Jeremy (the otter) would by very
leery of any "hands-on" fighting with another individual, since he
has absolutely no sense of touch when armored up. Since he would not
want to hurt anyone unintentionally, he probably wouldn't actually be
throwing punches and ripping people's arms off and beating them in
the head with the wet stump. But man, I gotta admit, I was cracking
up when I drew that sequence. It was the illustrated version of the
saying "I'm gonna rip your arm off and beat you over the head with
it". Ha!
Likewise, Rahne (the vixen) is very afraid of her powers and would
probably become a real basket case if she were to actually reduce
someone to ashes. She's actually a very sensitive girl, completely
unlike the way I portrayed her in the joke pages.
To answer your other question (?), yes, the Lot Six/ Caterwaul Inc.
characters do sometimes have to get a bit nasty. But in general,
both teams try to capture their targets alive, and with as little
damage as possible.
