Well, there are a LOT of liberties being taken with the "real"
comic. For example, Scarlet's power would not allow Jeremy to remove
her arm in that fashion. Also, Jeremy is not made of any known
metallic substance, so it's highly unlikely he would melt. He could
be knocked out by a bomb detonating at ground zero, but he wouldn't
physically be hurt. Rahne (the fiery vixen) is a total sweetheart,
and she definitely would not incinerate someone like that, especially
with such a cold, emotionless stance. Plus, I do not know if Red
would be able to absorb her flames since they aren't natural (she can
lower her flame temperature to as low as 50-some-odd degrees, and can
also "light up" under water).
But fear not, we'll be getting back to the "real" continuity of the
comic in about a week...
