Hey all-
Just posted a new sketch pic in the Sketches folder. It's one of
the ones from the "Ladies in Red" folio, due out in a few weeks (as
soon as I get the damn paper reams delivered here so I can finish
printing the "Mousetrap" folio. Think I'll give the paper company a
call tomorrow from work...)
I tried three different systems, and they all had the same result,
even after adjusting connection speed and port settings. The lower
connection speed seems to help a bit, though. Seems the problem is
with the wiring in the house. The "dead air" on the line is anything
but dead. Damn near sounds like a friggin' radio station tuned to
static. Reckon I'll be calling Bellsouth tomorrow, too.
Since my connection speed is so slow, I'm gonna use my lunch break
tomorrow to download a bunch of the fan art pictures, which I will
then burn to CD and bring home (and then install on my system). I
should be able to catch up on some posts tomorrow while at work too;
if not, I'll get them when I get home.
So enjoy the picture, and I'll be online tomorrow around noon-ish!
Gonna try to catch up on a few e-mails before going to bed...
HA, VICOTRY IS MINE!!! I knew it had to be the wiring since I had the exact
same thing happen to me. I trust you'll be able to get the issue settled soon
so you won't be tempted to pull out the Sledgehammer Equalizer as a Last
Resort.

PS- I'm not quite sure what Natasha's doing with her right hand in
that new picture, but I definitely know what Lori's doing! And I bet
Val is gonna kick her ass for it, too! >;P

*Grins* Natasha might end up in the same boat as well. Though Onyx might
also be Natasha's accomplice since her left paw is no where in view & could be
double-teaming against Val. So many possibilities, and only 1 mind knows the
truth "behind" the pic.
