Jim, two things.
First : I think we all already know what you are suffering with
those people who repost special pics against your will, like so many
other artists suffer too (me included, in a far lower scale). We
know how you feel, and I am glad every time you thought about this,
you decided not to quit because of the pleasure of drawing, sharing
and the need for your bills of course. I think we would understand
if you decided to quit, but we then would all suffer a great loss,
and that's not just a word.
Second : I don't think it is quite the right place to post this.
Why ? Because I am almost sure there are less than a handful bunch
of guys HERE who actually do that ! It would be better
to "advertise" in such places as fchan, a place many people (such as
me) hate because of the poor degree of maturity of many people
there. Not that it would make them understand, they are too selfish
for that, but it would hit more people, and above all people who
don't already know you, and who then would be concerned about this
problem. And who knows, amongst them, there could be a few who will
actively defend you in other places where such reposts are also
made, and then again...
Anyway, your explanation sure made me better understand the costs
you are facing just for drawing ; man, I am quite glad not to be as
professionnal as you, I absolutely couldn't afford such costs !!!!
